Yoghurt Made Easier with EasiYo

Yoghurt Made Easier with EasiYo

I was recently asked if I would like to become an ambassador for EasiYo, the easy-to-use kitchen gadget that allows you to make your very own yoghurt in just 3 easy steps.

We were sent the EasiYo yoghurt maker in red – to match the rest of the kitchen appliances that I have accrued – together with two sachets of yoghurt mix. We were given the strawberries and cream flavour and the coconut greek yoghurt flavour. The set also came with a 1kg plastic container.

Making the yoghurt is extremely easy and straightforward. There are just 3 simple stages:

  1. Half fill the container with room-temperature drinking water then empty the contents of the sachet in. Put on the lid and shake vigorously. Fill the container up with more water until it is 5mm from the top and then shake again.
  2. Ensure that the plastic insert spacer is pushed down inside the Yogurt Maker as far as it can go. (Check the correct side is facing up). Pour boiling water into the Yoghurt Maker to the top of the plastic insert spacer.
  3. Place the container into the Yoghurt Maker so that it is sitting on top of the insert spacer. Put the Yogurt Maker lid on and leave it on the kitchen worktop for 8 to 12 hours (we left ours overnight) to let the yoghurt set.

Voila! Instant, tasty yoghurt.

The great thing is that these sachets are full of goodness. There is no artificial flavours or preservatives and, because it is freshly made, the cultures in it are live. This means you can receive the benefits that the lactic cultures have to offer.

All EasiYo yogurts contain Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus acidophilus. Some certain products also contain the Bifidobacterium Lactis strain. The combination gives EasiYo its wonderful taste and texture.

They are suitable For Vegetarians and they are also wheat and gluten-free.

I have to say that Grace and I eat yoghurt for breakfast a lot and it is so much more satisfying when you have made it yourself. The Coconut Greek Yoghurt flavour was creamy, smooth and delicious and definitely our favourite. We look forward to having that one again!

EasiYo isn’t just about the yoghurt! They have some fabulous recipe ideas over on their website. Plus, they also fruit squirt toppings for that added extra.

Hi Victoria, I remember my Mum having an electric yogurt maker when we were growing up, which was both fiddly and messy (and the taste? Well….). Using EasiYo to make yogurt seems so much simpler and less messy too!

    xx
