The Bonikka Doll. A Beautiful Christmas Gift Idea.

The Bonikka Doll. A Beautiful Christmas Gift Idea.

headerI was recently sent one of the very beautiful Bonikka Dolls made by imajo toys. They describe themselves as a company who make ‘adorable toys to be loved and cherished’. So when I received Brook, my doll, in the post I could see why.

The Bonikka Doll range remind me of being a child again. Brook has a friendly, charming face, gorgeous stripey dress with brown velour shoes and gorgeous pigtails tied up with a pink ribbon. I love her. But I know who will love her more this Christmas, and that is my niece, Lily. (Good job she is only 14 months old and can’t read!). I particularly love the attention to detail and the extremely tidy and thorough stitching of the doll.

The Bonikka Dolls are 42cm tall and the body is made from 100% cotton, with recycled polyester wadding. Clothing fabric is 100% cotton. They are suitable for age 0+ and conform to all European safety standards.

Bonikka also recently announced that their doll Honey (see below) won a silver medal in the doll category of the Independent Toy Awards 2014.

Hi Victoria, what a beautiful looking doll, she reminds me of the one they used to have on Play School (Gemima?). I love the rag doll type dolls, they are so old fashioned. I was lucky enough to have my Aunty make a much cherished rag doll for my daughter.

I am sure Lily will grow up loving her doll, I know I would!
