NaPoWriMo Day 17 – The Future of What We Are

NaPoWriMo Day 17 sees a new life for me on the horizon. I will go into more detail when things are a bit more progressed but right now I will share with you what I have in a poem. It sums up what I am feeling at the moment.
The Future of What We Are
New lives, a new start
Brush away cobwebs of the heart
Shining brightly like a star
Is the future of what we are
Family is what we’ll be
That will mean so much to me
A future full of happy hope
Potential in me you awoke
And together we’ll grow old
Watch our children bright and bold
Memories to be made and treasured
As we spend our lives together
