A Very Happy Valley. A #CountryKids Post
Ever since we moved to Somerset just over a month ago, poor Grace has been bugging me to go to our local playground which is literally up a lovely country path from her school. So finally on Thursday of this week – after being dragged around town by me and behaving very well – I took her to our local park known as ‘Happy Valley’.
She had a wonderful time. One of her favourite things in a playground ever is the zip wire and I completely understand why. Here’s a little video of her on it:

The slide and climbing frame together with a spinning witches hat is on top of a sandpit which I imagine could get somewhat soggy when it rains but who cares?! There is a great number of benches and picnic tables dotted around for parents, a separate section for the swings and there is a basket ball/football court and skateboard/bike ramp. Beyond this is a huge playing field and beyond that is the beautiful view that we see on our walk to school every day and every time we leave our house to drive down the hill.
I think we are going to be frequent visitors to Happy Valley 🙂

The Happy Valley playground looks fantastic. They have some lovely equipment there and also you’re in a lovely rural setting that you can explore, the videos show what a great time Grace had – thanks for sharing with Country Kids.
