Girls Talk – A Wot So Funee Post
This last week saw a couple of days of linguistic genius from Grace.
On Wednesday last week, Grace had the day off school as we had to go up to London for a negligence claim over Grace’s nursery from two years ago! We had to venture to Bank and, as a result, we came out of the tube right next to the Bank of England. As we walked down the side of the building, Grace noticed a large ornate door (see photo!). She exclaimed ‘Look Mummy, its like Gringotts, and there’s a secret door’!! I have to say that she does have a great imagination!
The following day on the drive home from school, Grace started discussing the skill of driving with me. She said ‘Do you know what happens when you drive with your eyes closed?’ I was curious to see what she would say, so I responded ‘No Grace, what?’ She came out with the sensible answers like the fact that I would drive into another car and crash, and drive into a building and crash, even drive into an advertising board and crash but then came the gem – ‘You could drive into an electric fence and get electrified!’

What an imagination x
I think she might take after me there! :S x
can’t wait for some gems from mine. Nursery soon for us, what happened at yours??
Oh, there will be plenty to come! 🙂 Basically Grace was ill and lying down in the poorly corner and another child started jumping around near her. They didn’t stop the child jumping and she landed on Grace’s face. As a result, Grace had to have a tooth pulled out by the dentist. I claimed negligence and they agreed to pay out! Thankfully the nursery had insurance :). My solicitor told me of a case where a little boy lost his finger but the nursery had no insurance so there was nothing they could do. Do make sure yours has it (I feel a blog coming on I think!!!).
its in my (long) list of questions 🙂
I love kids imaginations…best toys they have!
Totally agree 🙂 x
Well it’s not beyond the realms of possibility, I suppose… If you live near an ancient monument, or a zoo…
Of course! Hadn’t thought of that 😉 x
