Christmas Food and Drink Ideas

Choosing the food and drink for our family has to be one of my most favourite parts of the Christmas festivities. I spend ages looking through different supermarket websites to see what they have on offer for that year.

I am pleased to say that some wonderful companies have contributed to my Christmas food and drink ideas list. Why have not have look and see if there is anything below you might be interested in too?

Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur RRP from £8

I have to admit that I had never tasted Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur until recently but I am pleased to say that I think that this is going to become a regular Christmas tipple for me. Chambord have launched two new editions for winter which will make great Christmas gifts or, of course, you could keep it for yourself! There is either a 20cl bottle of Chambord packaged in a beautiful deep purple box, covered in raspberries. Or you could try the new 50cl bottle. Drink it neat or use it in cocktails. Your choice!

The Lakes Gin Filled Baubles from Find Me a Gift RRP £29.99

I have to admit that if I had bought this one for someone I would more than likely keep it myself! This is a collection of 6 Christmas Tree Baubles, containing 3 different delicious gin concoctions including The Lakes Gin – a flavoursome speciality gin created in The Lake District, The Lakes Sloe Gin Liquer – a tempting liqeur made with sloe berries, and The Lakes Damson Gin Liquer – the damson brings in a flavour of fresh cherries and ripe plums. The baubles are made from treated plastic, to make sure that the alcohol is held safe and sound without interfering with the taste.

I personally think that Hampers can be a little overrated but this one from Yumbles is great value for money. It is full of tasty food and accompaniments presented in a willow storage basket. Konditor and Cook Mince Pies Gift Box of 6 RRP £12

Konditor and Cook are famous for their Mince Pies. The Telegraphy called them ‘The best Mince Pies in Britain’. They are made with the finest all-butter pastry and filled with a luxuriously full flavoured vegetarian mincemeat. After tasting them myself, I can testify that The Telegraph wasn’t too far wrong at all!

Konditor and Cook Christmas Cookie Selection RRP from £6 

If their Mince Pies weren’t enough, Konditor and Cook have a fantastic Christmas Cookie Selection in a beautiful presentation box. Perfect to spoil yourself or someone special. This particular box contains meringue-topped Lemon Moon Biscuits, nutty Kipferl Biscuits and traditionally spiced Cinnamon Stars.

I have worked with Indigo Herbs in the past and always loved what they stand for. These clever little balls of flavour enhance drinks and add a little something extra. Great for parties and especially good as Christmas gifts, I love the pineapple flavour.
