5 Ways to Save Money Online

Like many people, I am all for a bargain or two. I am always looking for ways to save or earn money. Over the years I have learnt tricks and tips from many people – some of which I still put into practice.

Here are 5 ways to save money online which will help you when you do spend.

Ways to Save When Ordering Online

Many online stores offer free delivery and free returns. However, the free deliveries tend to be over a certain limit. For example, Monsoon’s threshold is £70.

If I place an order, I tend to go over the free delivery threshold and then use the free returns to send the items back which I don’t need. One of the things I regularly do is order clothes in a couple of sizes. That way I get the size I want, go over the free delivery threshold and make sure I get the right size!

Ways to Save Using Money Saving Sites

It is always best to shop around. With that in mind, there are plenty of money saving sites which will help give you hints tips and offers.

If you are looking for great prices then there are lots of online deals available at Sello. Other sites such as Groupon and Wowcher give you products, experiences and holidays at greatly reduced prices.

Did you know that there are even sites to make money in college?

Ways to Save Using Money Earning Sites

As well as money saving sites, there are also plenty which offer ways to earn cash back or points in return for vouchers.

Topcashback is a great way to earn whilst you spend. There are a number of sites which work with them and all you need to do is click through from the Topcashback site through to where you are spending money and it will then earn you a percentage back.

Swagbucks is a ‘get paid to’ site. You simply sign up and carry out surveys, click through to make purchases and sign up for accounts in return for swagbucks. As these mount up, you can then exchange your points for a variety of vouchers including Amazon, Next, M&S and Paypal.

Ways to Save When You Complain!

If you ever experience poor service then it generally pays to complain. We have had the wrong orders on things like McDonalds and KFC. When this has happened, we have taken a photo of the order next to the receipt and tweeted it to the company concerned. They usually reimburse us with a voucher.

I have regularly ordered using next day delivery over on Amazon as I have a Prime account. On many occasions the items do not turn up the following day – despite saying that they would. When this happens I always make a complaint and, as a result, Amazon usually extend my Prime account by a month on top of what I have left.

Ways to Save Using Matched Betting

I only discovered Matched Betting a couple of months ago and I have already made around £150. It is an easy way to make money, especially when you use sites like Profit Accumulator and Heads&Heads who explain how the whole system works, guide you through the steps and offer fantastic support.
