WIN the New Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker **Review Included**

Rex and I were very excited to be invited to review the brand new Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker chair. To me, Fisher Price has always been synonymous with a name you can trust. I can distinctly remember playing with their toy chatter telephone and musical Ferris wheel when I was a child. Then, when Grace came along, she had many of their products including the wonderful Jumperoo.

The New Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker

Fisher Price seem to have done it again with their Infant to Toddler Rocker Chair. Rex loves the colourful toucan and lion toys hanging down from the toy bar and bashing Mr Toucan seems to be one of his favourite pastimes at the moment.

The main features of the Rocker are as follows:

  • Bright, comfortable seat and calming vibrations helping to soothe and relax baby
  • Bat-at entertainment overhead helping to strengthen gross motor skills
  • Simply fold out the kick stand to turn the rocker into a stationary seat
  • Two comfortable recline positions
  • Suitable for little ones up to 40lbs/18kg
  • Removable toy bar
  • RRP £59.99
  • Suitable from birth+

My Thoughts

There are a number of things that I really love about this chair. Firstly, the fact that it will last Rex for a while is great. It makes the chair really good value for money. Many baby chairs or bouncers become obsolete very quickly. Not so with this Rocker as it easily transforms from rocker into a stationary toddler seat. Grace used to use a small stool to sit at our coffee table when she was little. I can see Rex using this chair to do the same thing.  In order to switch it to toddler mode, there is a kick out bar located under the front part of the chair.

One of the things that really caught my eye was how sturdy it is. Many infant chairs have flimsy wire stands but not so with this new version. The rocker section is chunky and well-supported. It makes me feel confident leaving Rex in it.

Eye-catching detail

I love the bright colours and eye-catching detail – as does Rex. I also love the fact that it both rocks and vibrates which gives you the best of both worlds. There is a button to the middle on the front of the base of the chair which easily switches on and off the vibrating motion.

The harness is a 3-point one which is easy to adjust and well padded. It has the standard, plastic clips which I know (speaking from experience) should be done up ensuring that your little ones fingers are well clear.

Finally, the fact that it has two different recline positions means that Rex is able to either have a sleep in the chair or be in a more upright position enabling him to reach the toys. This is adjusted easily by using the green button on each side of the seat.

Thankfully Grace is far too big to use this – otherwise I think they could very well be competing for it!
