Ever since Morrisons introduced their Nutmeg range of clothing, I have kept a close eye on what they have to offer. Having previously reviewed their Christmas jumpers coupled with the fact that Rex has regularly worn their newborn clothing, I was really pleased when they approached me to see if Grace would like to review an outfit.
The Nutmeg guarantee
One of the things I love about Nutmeg is their attention to detail. They offer a 200-day guarantee on all their clothing together with plenty of thoughtful details. These include:
- adjustable waist bandswhich allow room for growth and a comfortable fit.
- bigger zips for smaller hands
- no neck labels which means no itching
- super soft fabrics
Nutmeg also now have a presence in all Morrisons stores.
I can’t begin to tell you how envious I was when I saw the trainers! Silver trainers with silver laces and sparkly toes, Grace was chuffed to bits to receive these and couldn’t wait to wear them. She is now a very large size 4 foot and I felt that these trainers were a great price at £11 – especially given the fact that she will get lots of wear out of them.
These skinny fit jeans felt really comfortable to touch and they now come in a new skinny stretch fit. They aren’t really for Grace as she prefers to go for skirts and leggings but I can certainly see how kids which like this style would love these – and so will the parents with a price tag of £9.
The T Shirt
Grace loves pugs so this top was a big hit with her. Featuring a stylish design of two friends walking their pug, I particularly liked the price tag of £4.
I like the t shirt, I think it is very fashionable. I don’t really like the jeans as I find they itch me – mainly because of the button on the adjustable waistband. I also think skinny jeans are a strange fashion as they are not very comfortable! I really love the trainers – the design is fab and they are so comfy to wear. I shall be using them loads.
Nutmeg have really come up trumps again. Competitively priced and stylish, they always put a lot of thought into what they produce. I will certainly be visiting a Morrisons soon to find some items for Rex – I don’t want him to feel left out!
