Welcome back! It’s been a while. I decided to take one long break from vlogging when we came back from our initial consultation in Spain. I just wanted to stop thinking about the whole thing for a while. But now, we are well and truly back on the case. I thought it fitting to bring my vlogs back this week as from tomorrow, it is Baby Loss Awareness Week.
The last vlog I posted was on 30th July and was recorded on 6th July – it was after I had come back from BritMums Live and had managed to cope with a mass of pregnant women and ladies with babies! Since that time, Ross and I have been to IVF Spain, come back, been through a mock cycle of my medication and am now on to the real thing.
Ross and I have to come to realise how much better IVF Spain is than our previous clinic. There is a lot to mull over about the clinic in Cyprus – and we will cross that bridge when we need to. In the meantime, we are doing everything we can to remain stress-free and relaxed. It has been all about me, Ross and Grace for the last few months. On top of that I have also been very meticulous with my diet to ensure I do my best to get back to, and remain within, my BMI. We want to give ourselves every chance possible.
As you might recall, Ross and I were runners up in the Fertility Road Magazine, meaning that we get our egg donation treatment for half price. In their next edition, published in time for the Fertility Show, Fertility Road are featuring our story as written from Ross’ perspective.
In this, my 26th vlog, I talk about our impending visit to IVF Spain, how I am going to miss Grace and ‘that’ newspaper article in the Daily Mail – which didn’t turn out quite as we had hoped it would! With apologies for the lack of make-up and the fact that I look absolutely knackered!
