Grace has always had a wicked sense of humour – even more so when she and Ross get together (it is like having two children) – and one of her favourite things to do is to play tricks on us. She is getting pretty good at it too! Ever since she had a fake dog poo (which she still places at the top of the stairs and blames our poor cat for) she is forever looking for new tricks to play on us.
With Halloween just around the corner (an even bigger excuse to catch us out!) who better to receive a brand new box of tricks from than Drumond Park? Holding the coveted Top Three spaces in the magic sets league, Grace was extremely pleased to receive the Box of Shocks to carry out a review.
For ages 8 and upwards, the Box of Shocks retails at £19.99 and is full of some of the best pranks to play on family and friends ever! It comes with a comprehensive set of instructions and gives you tricks such as the opportunity to squirt ‘ketchup’ all over someone’s shirt, showing people how to ‘break your finger backwards’, leaving a coiled snake in a crisp tin, ramming a pen through your hand and draw on your friends clothes in pen but then make it magically disappear! There is also a magic glass which lets you pour water into it and then through it at your chosen victim – without getting them wet, a fake egg (throw at someone and watch them duck!), and a small hand!
I think it is really cool and everyone will love it. If they had a brother or sister it would be awesome playing tricks on them but it is great to play it on your parents too! My top three are, in reverse order, the gum squirter – offer a piece of gum to your friends and then give them a soaking! Then, the dead finger in the box. Finally, my favourite is the magic pen – it looks like you are drawing on someone and then you can make it disappear!
I have to agree with Grace here. My favourite is also the magic pen. It looks so realistic! I have to say that we don’t need Halloween in this house to have Grace regularly playing jokes on us – but I am sure that she will be out in full force on that particular occasion!
I am pleased to say that I am giving away a Box of Shocks magic and tricks set to two lucky winners. All you need to do is follow the instructions on the Gleam widget below.
