I have always love clothes and fashion. I believe that is something to do with the fact that I attended the London College of Fashion after I left school. I was actually on their modelling course and I love the fact that it meant that I was able to wear many of the clothes which the fashion designers came up with. This is also what taught me to coordinate and, for that, I will be forever grateful!
I saw a lady in town the other day who matched a flowery top with a flowery skirt. That might sound great but if you saw that not only were the patterns completely different so were the colours then you will understand what I mean if I said that it was enough to give you a migraine!
I recently shared a post where Grace chose her favourite items from the House of Fraser sale, so today it is my turn! I have decided to share with you 5 of my favourite pieces of clothing together with matching shoes from the Dorothy Perkins sale over on Love the Sales.
Dress red – £30, Adeller Lace Up Pointed Court Shoes – £27
I chose this dress because I thought it looked really classy. I would wear it if I were going out for a nice meal or an evening at the theatre. I thought the shoes would compliment the black belt buckle.
Aline skirt – £17.59, White Rib Cami Top – £3.00, CILIA Espadrilles – £14.40
This outfit looks so cool and summery and would be perfect for a trip to the beach and then on to the bar in the evening.
Trousers multi colour – £19.20, Basic Tshirt £18.99, ‘Whist’ Peep Toe Wedges – £19.20
I love these trousers. They look so different to what I would normally wear but these really caught my eye. Together with the top and wedges, I think they would look great for any occasion.
**Chi Chi Navy V Neck Skater Dress – £49.99, ‘Bailie’ Navy Bow Detail Court Shoes – £22.50
I absolutely adore this dress and I am seriously considering nipping back over to buy it. I think skater dresses are so flattering for ladies with big hips – like me! – as they accentuate your waist and hide the big bits. I thought the shoes matched perfectly!
Summer dress – £32, ERIN High heels – £19.20
This dress looks far better on and if you nip over to take a look then you will see what I mean with the photo of the model wearing it. I love the skirt with the extra pieces of material and powder blue has to be one of my favourite colours.
