The Conception Diaries #16 – Friday 4th March 2016

Welcome to the sixteenth episode in my series of vlogs, ‘The Conception Diaries’. If you would like to catch up on previous episodes then please visit my playlist on YouTube.

Before I come to this week’s vlog, I need to say a massive thank you to everyone who voted for me in the BiB Awards 2016. I am thrilled to say that I have made the shortlist for the Video category. I have to admit that after our disappointment at the end of March I have found it so hard to carry on and, finally, spurred on by this I recorded a vlog today. It gave me the kick up the backside that I needed! I would love to make the finals so please see details on how to vote to help get me there at the bottom of this post.

Regular followers of my vlogs and blog will know by now that the egg donor treatment we had carried out at the beginning of March sadly did not work. If you would like to listen to the full story of what happened then you can hear me talk about this on this episode of the Meet the Parents Podcast.

In this vlog, Ross and I talk to you from our apartment in Cyprus. We tell you about how Ross has completed his side of the bargain (!) and tell you our embryo babies are now in the world. We tell you about what has happened so far and what is going to happen next and I discuss the medication that I am taking and, if you watch to the end, you will see an image of the Kolan British Hospital in Cyprus as well as a rather special photograph.

Thank you for watching xx

That’s really interesting, that the % of good direct swimmers can be increased so much by cutting out alcohol and changing diet! Well done Ross, that’s a huge lifestyle change – for the better I guess! Maybe I should try it (not that I have any swimmers to try and improve, lol)
