Introducing the Message in a Bottle Book and a Chance to Be Involved

I was recently contacted by the talented team who created a brand new book due to be launched in July this year. The story ‘Message in a Bottle’ is a little bit different in the fact that it has a unique concept. It is an exciting adventure which is personalised to your child, creating memories that you will both treasure for a lifetime.

Unlike other personalised books, the story is not about them but, instead, it includes them. This will mean that it will teach them empathy and help them to see the world through other people’s eyes. The tale of adventure is exciting with a hidden surprise – a message to the child the book has been gifted to – but who sent the message and what it will say? On top of all of this, it is also a great way for your child to learn about the world around them . The geography of the animals are appropriate to each country and this has been verified by a professional biologist.

The book is full of lovable characters, drawn beautifully by Tuire Siiriainen. She has a huge passion for illustration and loves to tell stories through pictures. Tuire also came up with the concept for the book with her partner, Wojtek. She then collaborated with Tom Percival, well-known for the cover art illustrator for the Best-Selling Skullduggery Pleasant series as well as having created animations for Oliver Jeffers and David Walliams, to turn the storyline into beautiful words. Tuire then established Blueberry & Pie as a small independent publishing house in September 2015 to make this book happen. Message in a bottle is the first project, with many more to follow.

There is also a chance for you to get involved because, until this Sunday 17th April, you can become a part of the launch team for this great book. Being a part of this team will mean:

  • giving constructive feedback so improvements can be made to the book
  • spreading the word about the book before, during and after the launch either on social media or in person
  • writing honest reviews on various websites, blogs and online stores

There will be an active Facebook group which hosts engaging challenges, polls, advance previews and frequent updates on the progress of the launch which you will also be a part of.

So, what the people behind Message in a Bottle offering in return? Well, there are 5 great benefits:

  1. 50% off the final book
  2. A free 32 card memory game featuring characters from the book
  3. Your chance to influence the book via the private Facebook group
  4. 5 additional discount codes to share with friends and family giving them 15% off
  5. An exclusive competition solely for members of the launch team

If you would like to know more about this great opportunity then go across to the Message in a Bottle landing site. This is where you will be able to sign up to the launch team or simply subscribe to their email list so you can keep up to date with the latest.

This is a collaborative post.

I love books which can involve children within their storytelling. Even better if can guide in the understanding that they can assist with others. Beautiful illustrations, one to keep an eye out for:)

I love that we’re really going to have a chance to be part of a book, not something you can do every day! x

Sigh, reading about such fun stuff as this makes me wish there were more children in my world. What a fabulous idea.
