The Conception Diaries #9 Tuesday 20th November 2016

Welcome to the ninth episode in my series of vlogs, ‘The Conception Diaries’.

Following last week’s post from Cyprus for our egg donation procedure, we are now back in the UK. More of that to come in later vlogs but if you would like to know more about what happened whilst we were there then you can catch up with this on the Meet the Parents podcast.

Thank you to those who continue to be so supportive by watching and commenting on my vlogs.

Following on from last week’s video and details about the fertility expert who was supposed to have helped me but did the exact opposite, I tell you more about what happened next. I also discuss our visit to The Fertility Show and the information we came away with including details of clinics offering egg donation and the country we have selected, epigenetics and how it has helped me come to terms with donation and our thoughts on gender selection.

Thank you for watching xx

Hi Victoria, I can’t imagine how you must feel. You are on one hell of a roller coaster, waiting, hoping and learning. It’s certainly nice to know that your genes can influence the fetus even though the egg isn’t yours, which makes sense I suppose as without you the baby couldn’t grow.

Ross certainly has a point about gender selection and it’s a personal choice, so no one should stand in judgement should you decide to choose. But how do you choose?

I do look forward to the day you have some good news to share.
