A Review of Lean Greens

A Review of Lean Greens

Ever since my newer, healthier way of eating started way back in October last year, I have been continuing to find easier and quicker ways to incorporate nutrition into my diet.

Juicing and smoothies are great but they don’t have make a mess and, even worse at this time of year, they make the kitchen smell if you don’t clean the juicer even after a short period of time – at one point we did think we had blocked drains!

Now there is a quicker, fuss-free, no mess way to obtain the nutrients you need without the hassle of the juicer (not that I will stop using it mind!). Meet Lean Greens.

At this time of the year we are out and about a lot so the vegetables and fruit we buy can get left in the fridge untouched and then go past it’s useful life. With Lean Greens you need just one 15g scoop a day and a tub contains at least 30 days supply.

The great thing is that it is easier than sitting down to a meal and a quicker way to get what you need for your body. You just need to mix it with water or add it to your juice or smoothies in order to boost your daily intake. The powder mixes fast and easily and I definitely found that, unlike other greens that I have tried, there aren’t any lumps!

Lean Greens gives you the following benefits:

·  getting rid of bloating

·  detoxing your system, helping promote clear, glowing skin

·  giving you a zing of natural energy

·  keeping you fuller for longer

·  giving you an instant hit of 7 grasses & 5 veg (perfect if you don’t have time or inclination to make a messy shake!)

It contains the following – 5 Grasses, 3 Superfood Vegetables, 2 Berries, 6 Digestive Enzymes & 2 Metabolic Ingredients

The great thing about this is that it is transportable too and I shall definitely have it with me on my holidays.

My Verdict

A Lean Greens starter pack is £49.97. It sounds pricey but with the money you save on wasted fruit and vegetables (this really applies in our house!) together with the fact that it saves you time – not only in getting your intake but also not having to clear up after juicing – I think it is worth it.

I never expect things like this to taste very nice and I have been known to hold my nose when drinking this type of thing in the past. In fact, I cannot stand Aloe Vera as it tastes like gone off orange juice and as for wheatgrass…! BUT I have to honestly say that the words that came out of my mouth after my first mouthful were ‘Mmm, this is quite nice’. And it was.

It was easy to mix and drink. There is a scoop in the pack – you just have to dig around for it a bit. I also really liked the starter pack which comes with a small container to enable you to transport less powder around.

The other fantastic thing about Lean Greens is that if you REALLY don’t like it, they will give you a 100% refund and they will even do so up to 60 days after your purchase.

Mine certainly isn’t going back though!
