With all of the tough times I went through when Grace was a baby, I also have some fond memories too. One of those memories is spending time with my Mum shopping with Grace in tow.
The place that we would regularly spend time is the baby section in Boots. It seemed to cater for everything from toys to clothes to food to all the essential bits and bobs that you need for babies. We would either visit the Woking store or their much bigger branch in Staines. I can recall that they had a great baby change and feeding area.
I can remember purchasing a majority of Grace’s weaning food there and I could spend hours looking through their sale rack. In fact, I found a couple of photos of Grace as a baby in her Boots clothes (with apologies for the quality – camera phones weren’t so good then!).
With all of these memories in mind, I was really pleased to hear that Boots Baby is celebrating 125 years of caring for our nation’s babies.
I have always trusted in Boots Baby and they definitely care for mothers and their baby’s needs. I found their Boots Parenting Club an invaluable asset. I joined up as soon as I knew about it. You can enjoy lots of benefits as a result, such as bespoke pregnancy/childcare advice as well as 10 points for every £1 spent on baby products within the baby area at Boots. Plus they regularly sent out vouchers and offers.
They were always there to offer straight forward advice when I really needed it and it is comforting to know that it comes from their very own pregnancy experiences and baby experts.
Since the gripe waters and milk sugars of the 1890s, they have been supplying parents and carers with effective and reliable baby products. Whether it’s nappy wipes, bottles and spoons, or expert skincare for dry and eczema prone skin; their baby products are recommended by mums, dads and carers – and it is easy to see why.
To mark this wonderful milestone, they have created the #Bootsbaby125Years celebration film. It is a nostalgic look at Boots through the years and I think it is beautiful.
Happy Birthday Boots Baby!
