My Definitive Christmas Essentials List

My Definitive Christmas Essentials List

That’s that. Halloween is now out of the way and I can really get down to business! Christmas is looming on the horizon and, with that in mind, I have decided to put together a Christmas Guide full of all of the different things you might need this festive season. PLUS, starting today, I am hosting a Big Charity Christmas Giveaway where, for the first couple of weeks of November, I shall be giving away prizes just in time for Christmas – and why not donate to charity at the same time as part of the entry? I will be supporting Unique – the Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group. Goodwill to all 🙂

1. The Christmas Decorations

The Christmas Boutique have all your decoration needs sewn up. Whether it be stockings, nativity scenes, baubles, candles or advent calendars, this handy site has it all – and all of it is beautiful. I have spent hours browsing! And, believe it or not, they even have some sale items at the moment.

2. The Christmas Jumpers

THE place to go for your oustanding Christmas jumper this year has to be Over on their site you will find jumpers for men, women and children and all of them are hilarious! I found the exact one to suit Ross though…take a look below!

3. The Cards and Stationery

Cards and stationery are an important part of Christmas for me. I have been known to traipse round many a shop to find the perfect Christmas card to send to my loved ones. have a beautiful selection of  Photo Christmas Cards just to make it that extra bit special. (Full review and giveaway coming soon).

4. The Food

When I reviewed some Atkins and Potts sauces earlier in the year, I was so impressed with the quality of what I was tasting. The chocolate orange sauce quickly became a firm favourite with me and I still get cravings for it! Well, just in time for Christmas, they have released a full range of sauces to compliment your Christmas food including Cranberry, Port & Orange Zest Sauce and Irish Whisky Sauce. (Full review and giveaway coming soon).

5. The Party Clothes

Where better to go this party season than M&Co? I am not an affiliate for just anyone, just the people I believe in – and M&Co is one of these companies. Their clothes are beautifully made and fit well. They also have a fantastic children’s wear range too.

6. The Toys

John Lewis is another quality company for me and, at the moment, they have some fantastic special offers with some items marked as much as £30 off! Such as the fantastic Barbie Glam Getaway Camper below. With loads of savings, pop over and take a look.

7. The Books

I have been a Parragon bookbuddy for a while now and I love the varied recipe books that they regularly send through. Here are just two of the range that would make perfect gifts for the baker in your family.

First, The Sugar Free Kitchen:

For those who want to reduce their sugar intake, it might seem like a daunting task, but The Sugar-free Kitchen offers a range of exciting recipes and advice to get you started. In addition, a helpful introduction gets to the bottom of the problem and provides useful information on how sugar affects the body and where it’s hidden, as well as information on the health benefits of eating more protein and whole foods, and how to stock your cupboard.

Or, how about Great British Cooking?

A selection of the favourite recipes of the nation, from Fish & Chips to Treacle Tart, this book contains recipes for all of Britain’s most loved foods. With clear instructions and beautiful photography, this guide is sure to inspire you in the kitchen. Also includes a guide on where and when to buy food around Britain, to make sure you get the most out of your meals.

8. The Gifts with a Difference

One of my utterly favourite places to shop is Groupon. For example, my brother turned 40 this week but I know that he is a total kid at heart so I managed to get hold of a remote control helicopter for him with more than 50% off the normal price. Groupon has such a variety of gifts including clothes, jewellery, toys and even experiences that you would be hard-pushed not to find something for everyone.

Disclosure: A couple of the companies mentioned on this list have compensated me and I am also an affiliate with some. Please note that all words and opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced whatsoever. I have chosen this list and these companies without any pressure.
