We Love Lottie. A Review and Giveaway.

Lottie logoGrace and I are rather proud to say that we were recently chosen to be Ambassadors for the Lottie doll brand. Lottie is a doll that first came onto the scene back in August 2012. She was created to help promote a better body image and with good, old imaginative play in mind – something that Grace excels at.

Unlike the other dolls which she competes with, Lottie is dressed as a regular child might be. She has a regular child shape with no make-up, high heels or tight-fitting, short skirts in sight!

Last year, the creators decided to take it a bit further by creating a new range which defy gender stereotypes by exploring new themes and incorporating adventure.

The Lottie range have a number of great selling points, including:

  • Ease to pack and carry about; Lottie is the only 7” (18cm) doll on the market
  • Her healthy childlike body
  • Age appropriate styling; no scanty clothes, high heels, jewellery, tattoos, makeup, etc
  • Can stand indepndently

Grace absolutely adores her Lottie. She chose the Snow Queen Lottie who is dressed up to go to a fancy dress party. Grace explains a bit more about what she thinks in her video below:

She was thrilled when she arrived and is now a regular feature in her doll games.

Since they are celebrating the second anniversary, the lovely people at Lottie would like to offer my readers the chance to WIN one of two Lottie dolls and an accessory set to go with her. All you need to do is enter using the Rafflecopter widget below.

Victoria, it was lovely to read your post, I got a Lottie for Emma’s birthday and was sort of nervous about her not liking it. But your post reassured me it was a good purchase and Emma may continue to play with her in the years to come, since Grace liked hers. I also want to thank you for keeping the rafflecopter simple, I have seen people being absolutely ridiculous with much smaller giveaways. Well, hope we win :-)!xx

Many congrats on being asked to be an ambassador for Lottie dolls. I’d seen them before but didn’t know much about the story behind them – but I love that they are designed to be more childlike and more ‘wholesome’ than other dolls.
