Men are notoriously tricky to buy for. Well, they are in my opinion anyway! With Fathers Day just around the corner AND the fact that I need to give Grace ideas for what to give (although she is getting better at thinking for herself these days) I was rather pleased when Redcandy.co.uk approached me to ask if I fancied a browse around their site to choose a gift.
A present for Ross wouldn’t be my decision though. It would be Grace’s so I called her in to have a look through the various options.
With chopping boards in the shop of a record deck and some nifty gadgets, you will find plenty to please your ‘Master Chef’! Ross makes a mean spaghetti bolognese but Grace moved on.
Ross works hard…very, very hard. There are some handy holders and flashy designs to suit any desk-bound Dad but Ross is not one for clutter on his desk (he is a bit OCD when it comes to this!).
More useful items in the shape of a tipple or two. Grace knows Ross VERY well and this is what she decided to choose…
First these clever Sagaform Rocking Whisky Glasses.
When the glasses are placed on a flat surface and given a gentle tap, they spin on a central cone on the bottom of the glass which simulates the movement you would give with your hand to stir and stimulate the whisky inside. A bit of a talking point for any guest – and rather impressive too! They are made of hand-blown glass and come in a pack of 6 at a very reasonable £16.50. I am really impressed by the quality.
Then Grace chose the Sagaform Whisky Stones.
These stones are ideal for any whisky drinker (most certainly Ross!). They are designed to be chilled in your freezer and act as a replacement for ice in your drink. Unlike ice cubes they don’t dissolve in your drink, therefore they don’t water down your expensive spirit and the full flavour is therefore kept intact from the top to the bottom of your glass. They come with a flash black velvet pouch too for storage when not in the freezer (or for when you have just taken them out). They come as a set of 9 and are currently on offer reduced from £15.00 to £12.50.
Come Sunday 15th June 2014 I think Ross is going to be one very happy dad!
