Prose for Thought – Made Memories

Prose for Thought – Made Memories

Welcome to this weeks Prose for Thought. I do hope that you have been enjoying the beautiful weather as much as I have. I always love this time of year. The Spring is my absolute favourite season with it’s blossom and longer days. A major sense of renewal.

Over the past few weeks I am aware that I have shared rather a lot of angst on here! It certainly isn’t me at all. So, I knew last night when I was thinking of something to write that I needed to show that my past wasn’t all bad. In fact, there were some really wonderful times. Not all relationships were awful. Some just weren’t for me.

Have a wonderful Easter everyone 🙂

Made Memories

I will remember this day so vividly
As we laughed and we sang and we drove
We saw the city and we saw each other
As we made memories

I will remember this day so clearly
As we sat in the sun and talked
We ate and we drank and the world was beautiful
As we made memories

I will remember this day, so fondly
As we lay in the field and planned
We had our lives in front of us
As we made memories

I will remember this day for always
As it came to a close, all good things end
We knew it was never to be
And we made memories

guest authoring a blog article or vice-versa?

My website addresses a lot of the same topics as yours and I think
we could greatly benefit from each other.
If you’re interested feel free to send me an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you!

Very philosophical poem. All our lives we make memories. Some we remember clearly and dearly for the rest of our days, others, as in my poem, are just simple moments that we lose forever.

Great poem hunny, I think that even though it didn’t work out it’s always good to have good memories. Life is too short not to fill them with great thoughts, great memories and great moments like these. I am sorry you been having a tough time lately. Hope more positiveness surrounds you and gives you a huge bear hug for me. I will send it your way. More moments like this to remember and cherish and to write about. Thanks for hosting my lovely. #prose4t

What a lovely positive poem, very evocative of good times. Made me feel like I was sitting in the sunshine under a cloudless sky. (But there’s nothing wrong with sharing angst either whenever you need to!) xxx
