‘Hairs Looking at You Kid!’ An H&A Haircare Review

‘Hairs Looking at You Kid!’ An H&A Haircare Review

photo (17)Grace has always, always had tangly hair. Fact! It has been that way since she was a very small child. She used to rock at night to get herself to sleep and, even now, still does it on occasion. This results in some rather interesting hair styles come the morning! I have even made up a small book entitled ‘The Tangle Fairies’ because of this which I may share with you one day.

H&A, the lovely sponsors of Tots 100, recently gave Grace and I the chance to review some of their hair care products so, in the post a couple of days ago we received a wonderfully presented gift box with shampoo, de-tangle spray, hair bands and clips together with some instructions on how to style different designs for long hair.

First we tested out the de-tangle spray on Grace’s dry hair – which was, of course, full of tangles:

H&A1The spray smelt lovely and Grace and I both agreed that it made the hair much easier to brush – even with her bed-head style!

Then we tried out the shampoo. One of the things that I really liked about this is that not only does the bottle have the lid on the bottom but it is also squeezy. Too many children’s products make life difficult but this design means that when you are trying to wash your children’s hair, you don’t have to perform a juggling act! I also liked the fact that it meant less waste and that the shampoo is hypoallergenic. Grace suffers from eczema so to have the suds from this product going into the bath, meant less concern.

Grace also seemed to enjoy the experience too, hence the thumbs down at the beginning, midway with the suds and up at the end!

On our journey to school the following morning – after washing her hair with the shampoo and using the de-tangle spray, we discussed how her hair felt. She told me ‘it smelt really nice and felt much softer and easier to brush’. I have to second that on the ‘easier to brush’ quote. We decided to try out one of the hair styles for school and settled on the Mini Ears. Her hair, as usual, was a tangled mess but we got through it much easier, did the style and got to school on time!

H&A3I have to say that I am really pleased with the H&A products. They smell good, make Grace’s hair feel good as well as being good to her skin. One very happy Mum over here!

I will be joining Tots 100 for a Google Hangout next Tuesday at 8pm to discuss hair care including my experience of using the H&A products, what Grace thinks (if you’re lucky she may make an appearance!) and other general thoughts. I will be sharing our discussion afterwards.

I’m loving Grace’s photo’s for this review she looks as though she’s really happy with the products, which has to be good because as a mum of two young girls I know that hair washing and brushing doesn’t usually bring so many smiles.
I love the Minnie Mouse Ears too 🙂

This looks great! My little lady has the tattiest hair ever, I spend ages brushing every morning because it just knots up like mad while she is in bed. She would love the Ariel design too x
