Last week I was invited, as part of the BritMums Network, to come and have a chat with Marco Pierre White to get his advice on one of the most important parts of Christmas Day – dinner.
You may remember that back in September I was lucky enough to be invited to Marco’s restaurant situated on the edge of Stamford Bridge – the home of Chelsea Football Club – where we got to see Marco at work in his kitchen preparing Christmas turkey.
The Hangout took place at 11am on Tuesday 10th December and was an opportunity for some of the members of BritMums to quiz the famous chef about our problematic issues to do with Christmas Day. One of my biggest problems is how to let the turkey ‘rest’ after taking it out of the oven without it going cold. This is a major issue for me, particularly on Christmas Day due to all the elements involved that you have to try and bring together at the same time.
Unfortunately my computer wasn’t playing ball and as a result it wouldn’t unmute itself properly! I did look a bit like I was under water!
