Last month Boden were kind enough to send me a dress and some shoes to wear to the MAD Blog Awards. Boden and I were hoping that they would arrive in time for me to use together with a fabulous Westminster print umbrella to go up to the Houses of Parliament for the Saatchi Bill meeting but, alas, Mr Postman wasn’t on the ball and they didn’t reach me in time.
It did mean that the dress was here for both the Marco Pierre White and event and I wouldn’t look out of place arriving at the 5 star Royal Garden Hotel for the MAD Blog Awards. If I am turning up at a very smart hotel lobby, I am the kind of person who would prefer not to be in jeans!
The dress I chose was the Marilyn Day Dress. Smart enough to wear to any upmarket hotel, function or dinner, extremely easy to wear and very flattering. I chose the Ledbury Lace Up shoe boots which are probably one of the most comfortable pairs of heels I have ever owned.
This weekend these two items are going to be serving me again for a really fantastic reason. I have been asked to join the Guys and Dolls Casting Agency and need to wear a smart dress to go and have my photo taken to go into their Artiste Directory for their new office in Bristol. I hope to be able to bring you some posts of my exciting escapades as a supporting artist!
If you love Boden as much as I do then Tots 100 and Boden are talking children’s dressing up tips at the #bodenparty over on Twitter from 1pm tomorrow, 23rd October 2013. Make sure you follow @bodenclothing and @tots100 use the hashtag to keep up with the chat. (The 5 best tweets will also win a £30 voucher to spend at Boden).
