Getting Creative with Hue Animation Studio

Recently we were selected as one of the lucky recipients to test the fabulous Hue Animation Studio – a ‘create your own’ moving animation film using stop-motion (the sort of thing that Morph was created with!).

The program itself was extremely easy to install and when it came to actually creating the film, Grace knew exactly what she wanted to do. Having made Mimi and Milo from the plasticine which, as a lovely surprise, is also provided, Grace then created their dog and decided on a story line.

We then lined up the camera and took a series of photos which captured the film in it’s entirety. This was also extremely easy to use and Grace, at the age of 6 years old, found it a doddle!

So here we give you her finished film in all it’s glory. The case of ‘Mimi, Milo and the Missing Dog’!

She was so excited by this that she went to create another very short film just after, featuring more adventures of Mimi and Milo in ‘Snail Tale’

Hue Animation Studio state:

The Hue Animation Studio contains everything a budding animator needs to begin creating stop motion animation videos.  Children can discover, imagine and create stop-motion animation through powerful, easy-to-use, animation software complete with Hue’s market leading Plug ‘n’ Play HD camera with built-in microphone and a unique flexible neck for unlimited positioning options.  The software (used in schools and at home) helps children to create simple visual adaptations using toys, modelling clay, play figures and stop-frame animation techniques.  The process of animating with the Hue Animation Studio encourages children to learn a diverse range of skills in both a fun and stimulating way.  They can create a story, create characters, make them from clay or plasticine, design and make sets, compose soundtracks or select appropriate recorded music to enhance a film. Whether you’re five or 95, you can’t go wrong with Hue’s full feature animation suite!

I have to say that I completely agree with that last sentence. We had so much fun and we intend to make more with different types of animation. Plus, who knows what other adventures Milo and Mimi will get up to?!

Hue Animation can also be found on Facebook and Twitter. We would like to thank them for providing us with the package in order to bring you this review.

This is usually a consultant that concerns harvesting
events furthermore so the cameraman must certanly be educated
and also important to earn case one perfect morning.
And last but not least, you can also use a remote cable release to help eliminate any movement
from pushing the shutter button down. re not shooting on manual because you leave part of the
    exposure up to the camera.
