Touchnote – the Perfect App for the Summer Holidays

Whilst at BML16 this year, I happened upon an App by the name of Touchnote. I had never come across it before but apparently is the world’s most popular postcard-sending service.

Following the conference, Touchnote approached me to become one of their Ambassadors and help spread the word so that their app would be the one used by everyone to share real, printed photos with loved ones.

Touchnote currently offer a number of different services including the option to send a postcard or greetings card, create a Print Box holding up to 36 prints of your favourite memories and framed photographs. You can create your product by simply using chosen images from your iPhone, iPad or uploading from your computer. You add the messages, and they print and post them for you – and delivery is included in the price.

Touchnote started back in 2008 in London and have since sent over 6 million cards worldwide. Their apps and the website have been featured in the world’s leading press, on Google Play and iTunes, and on many fridges worldwide!

With summer upon us, I really like the postcard option and, next week when Ross and I are in Spain, we will be putting their service to the test. They already offer a standard image for their postcards but they also offer personalised Postcards too. All you need to do is use one of the photographs from your iPhone or iPad, upload it to the app and select it as the postcard image, add the recipients address and the card will be sent to the next day, arriving within 2 to 3 days. All this without even having to leave your deckchair! And your photo makes it unique too.

I have already reviewed the Print Box from Touchnote by ordering images from the Disneyland Paris Trip that Grace and I took back in September 2010. You can find more details about this, together with your chance to win a Print Box of your own over on my travel blog, Victoria Visits.

I am looking forward to making more use of the Touchnote app in my capacity as a Brand Ambassador this summer.
