I wasn’t aware, until a month or so ago, that Parragon sold more than just books. They recently sent me two products for review and I am pleased to say that they are both a big hit.
The first item they sent me was Professor Murphy’s Metal Puzzles. The box is really eye-catching and contains six metal puzzles together with a 16 page book of brain-teasers and the puzzle solutions. They are similar to the ones you get in Christmas crackers – but far better because there are more of them! It is definitely the kind of thing that will you and the kids occupied for hours. A great activity to complete together.
The second item is something that Grace absolutely loves! It is an activity book called ‘Christmas 4000 Stickers’. BUT there are not just stickers inside. The book contains puzzles, colouring, dot-to-dot, sketching and, of course, sticking. At the moment, Grace is coming home from school exhausted due to how much there is going on by way of plays, concerts and the general hubbub of activity during the Christmas term, so she likes to get in the warm and relax with a bit of colouring and completing the puzzles – as there is nothing too taxing in there!
She has also put many of the stickers to good use and placed them of all the envelopes for the Christmas cards she gave to her friends.
If you are looking to keep the kids occupied in the run up to Christmas, then I can certainly recommend both of these products.
