Since technology has become more prominent in everyone’s lives, I think that it is a little sad that Christmas cards don’t seem to make as much of an appearance as they used to. I have decided to put amends to that on my part this year and make sure that I send as many as I can to the people who are still in my address book. Of course, that means finding something suitable to send.
Having already worked with Zazzle during Halloween, they asked me to take a look at their Christmas card range over on their site and I was pleased to see the huge variety that seems to be there for everyone.
Firstly, for the animal lovers, I chose these cards. One depicts a cute drawing of a pug (Grace’s absolute favourites at the moment) with a Christmas hat and the other is a photo of a cat and dog looking festive.
For the more traditional and straightforward, there is this beautiful wreath design which can be customised and underneath that there is card which shows a bright picture of Father Christmas and his sleigh.
For the arty type, there is a simple yet elegant drawing of Covent Garden, or why not choose something a little more vivid in a great drawing of Christmas at Mounts Bay. There is also a gorgeous, delicate card which depicts a Vintage Japanese scene (one I know my brother will love).
For the photography lovers out there, I really like this great Christmas scene and Zazzle also offer some fantastic Vintage postcards. I loved this Father Christmas one in days gone by.
There is also more specialised cards and postcards with images of something tailored to things that people love. In my case, there is this fabulous decorated TARDIS as I am a big Doctor Who fan.
Finally, for the closer relatives, we decided to design our own card and chose a family photo of the 3 of us at Christmas last year. We were able to put our own stamp on it.
As well as cards, Zazzle offer some great return labels which are very festive and used to decorate the outside of the envelope. I think they are a great idea – and below is the design we chose.
Why not pop over to the Zazzle website for all your Christmas cards? There is something there to suit everyone.
