I have really taken control of my photography this year and, after attending a couple of online courses, for both beginner and advanced, I am now rarely out of manual mode on my DSLR.
That said, I also continue to use my iPhone but now I find that I am much more aware of the composition of a picture and how I would like the end product to look.
When The Canvas Prints approached me and asked me if I would review one of their products, I knew exactly which photo I was going to choose.
We were on holiday in Brean Sands back in August. Grace had brought her school friend, Lucy, with us and we had spent a wonderful day with my Mum and step-dad in Weston Super Mare. The girls decided to go down to the sea and we had been lucky with the weather with some beautiful sunshine. The sun was hitting the water and creating some beautiful reflections and I took this on my iPhone at just the right moment. The image sums up our holiday to me.
Of course, as it was an iPhone photo, I was a bit worried at how the quality of the canvas print would turn out. I needn’t have though. The Canvas Prints have done a fabulous job. Not only on the front but also on the back.
The quality of some canvases I have had in the past hasn’t been that great but I was really impressed with the wood that has been used on the frame and the way in which they have secured the canvas.
They offer the following benefits to their customers:
- Premium quality canvas in low prices
- 70% OFF all sizes
- Prices start from £10.80
- 1.5″ Frames made by Premium quality UK pine
- 340GSM HD 100% cotton canvas media
- Genuine inks used for printing
- 100 years colour fading warranty
- Canvases stretched by hand
- UV, dust & water protected
The canvas size I chose is a very large 40″ x 30″ and is currently priced at £47.91 – which is a great reduction from the usual £159.71.
I am very happy with the end result and the canvas now has pride of place on our landing wall.
