Zazzle has been on my radar for quite some time. I have had an account with them for just over 5 years now and can remember creating my own t-shirts for Ross, Grace and I to promote the pantomime I directed, Cinderella.
When they approached me to see if I might like to choose something from their Halloween collection, I knew exactly what I was looking for. Zombies.
Ever since Ross and I became hooked on The Walking Dead 3 and a half years ago, Zombies have played a big part in our household. And, ever since discovering the Bad Lip Reading videos that feature the Walking Dead, Grace is also fixated on them too. So much so that whenever we go out into town on a shopping trip, Grace, Ross and I (sometimes) turn into Zombie hunters! We also regularly quote so of the lines from videos on YouTube and the song ‘Carl Poppa’ is now on our playlist!
So, what better choice than some zombie-related shirts. Perfect to ward off the Walkers this Halloween.
The first choice was this Zombie Hunter shirt with the slogan ‘One in the head, keeps ’em dead!’. Perfect for Grace. There are a number of different sizes and options and we went for the long-sleeved t-shirt meaning she can wear it at this time of year. It was easy to check the sizing, choice of shirt and colour.
Then, Ross chose a similar option to Grace. Again, a zombie hunter type image but more of a vintage version. He decided upon a t-shirt as he is one of those guys who doesn’t really feel the cold.
I decided upon something a little more straightforward – without all the zombie hunting options. Mine is based on the ‘Keep Calm’ series although, the Keep Calm stuff has been spray-painted over with the words ‘Run! Zombies are coming!’. Very apt for me. I am one who feels the cold so I also chose the long-sleeved slightly fitted women’s version of the top. Again, easy to find, easy to size and lots of colour options.
We all decided upon black – because who doesn’t wear black on Halloween?
We are off to London over half term where we will be experiencing Shrek’s Halloween Adventure. I wonder if you can guess what we will be wearing?
Zazzle have a fantastic selection of Halloween clothing, invitations, gifts, aprons, stickers, posters and badges and much, much more. The great thing is that you can also create your own designs and, if you would like to, you can sell them and make a bit of extra cash.
Shipping costs depend on the size of your shopping cart. For example, Standard Shipping for our order would have cost £4.86 and taken 5 to 12 business days or Express Shipping is priced at £22.17 – which I did find on the pricey side – which would take 2 to 3 business days.
You also have the option to share your cart with other people via email.
Overall, I find the Zazzle site easy to use and straightforward to order from. I do feel that their prices are a little more than I would usually pay but they make up for this with the quality of their items.
