Out of the 3 of us in this household, I am constantly known for the one who feels the cold. Many a time Grace and Ross have taken the mickey out of me because, according to them, it’s ‘ruddy boiling’! I don’t know what they are talking about.
Ross and I have to agree to disagree on the temperature of the bedroom as I adorn my nightclothes which sometimes includes my onesie or a robe (not very romantic but hey, what’s a girl to do?!).
A couple of weeks back, the lovely people at Heat Holders sent over 3 pairs of socks for us to review. They say:
As far as have ever been tested, Heat Holders are the warmest thermal wear products in the world. The brand’s signature socks have an impressive tog rating of 2.34, meaning you needn’t ever layer your socks again!
Now, due to market demand for warming products, Heat Holders has expanded its range – now offering socks for men, women and children, the brand also offers a range of tights, leggings, hats, gloves and thermal underwear – with further products being developed!
At this time of year we are generally lulled into a false sense of security as Spring starts to make it’s appearance but – and I speak from personal experience following Monday this week! – I get up to walk to school with Grace in the morning when it is lovely and warm and sunny. Come the afternoon it is flipping freezing and I spend half the time walking around the house in my coat which seems to double up as a duvet!
Ross hasn’t worn his heat holders yet – they are still in the packet! Grace uses hers regularly as slippers as they have a non-slip bottom on them and me? Well I use mine all the time! They are great!
