One of the first reviews I carried out on my blog was of the fabulous Reading Eggs. Grace has been registered and enjoyed learning with them for nearly a year now and I am constantly pleased with what they have to offer.
Reading Eggs is aimed at children aged 3 to 13 years to aide them with their reading progress. With each challenge completed, eggs are rewarded and they are used to ‘spend’ in the virtual shop over in Reggies World. You can create your own avatar, buy clothes and items for your house, play games and even make your own book.
At the moment Reading Eggs are running their campaign ‘The Great Literacy Challenge’ to help get as many children as possible starting on their reading journey and, in the process, helping a great charity.
From now until 30th September all new registrations get 5 weeks free access to the programme. As well as this, Reading Eggs will be donating £1 to the charity, Tommys, for all new registrations during this period. Tommys is the charity that helps fund medical research into miscarriages, stillbirths and premature births. So the more new children who start reading, the more money that can be raised.
You too can get involved in raising awareness of this great campaign by tweeting about it using the hashtag #ukreadingeggsglc
To register simply click on the photo at the top of this post and you will be taken over to the website so that you can start your FREE trial AND raise money in the process.
Come back tomorrow for a great giveaway from the wonderful people at Reading Eggs.
