A Bit of a Shoe Off!

I don’t know about you, but I adore shoes. Always have. I believe that it is a ‘woman thing’ and I believe that a couple of my sisters are inflicted with the same condition as me in this department.  Generally I am one of those people who love a bargain and am always proud to tell people how little I have spent on an item of clothing or pair of shoes or boots.

But a woman can dream right?! I know that if I was ever to win the lottery – of course, I need to actually take part first! – then one of the first things that I would love to do is buy an expensive pair of shoes…or two or three! I would love a walk-in wardrobe full of beautiful designer clothes and shoes.

One of the first places I would visit is the website for Avenue 32 and the designer, aperlai. They do some wonderful designs and I thought I would share a few of them with you.

The first is a lovely pair of Nude Snakeskin Cross Leaf Stilletos. They would look great with a skirt or suit and are versatile enough to go with something dressed up or down. And ‘how much are they?’ I hear you ask! Well, they are yours for £585. Hardly make a dent in a big lottery win.

The other pair that caught my attention were something a bit ‘different’. They are a pair of Yellow Flouro Python Gatsby Loafers. It was partly the name that did it for me! But also, they are eye-catching with a fluorescent yellow piping which would look great with a pair of cropped jeans. These come in at £390.

So, one day, when I have made my millions, you shall be able to see my collection of designer shoes. Well…as I said, a woman can dream 🙂

I am a total shoeaholic! At one point I had circa 200 pairs (my sister counted, I was too busy buying others to count!). I now do 1 in 1 out whenever I buy, and have gotten rid of around half of them. But I remember buying my first pair of Prada shoes, love my Jimmy Choos, but also my Dune or Head over Heels footwear too. If I won the lottery, I would definitely a SATC style walk in dressing room!
