Wash My Spins Away

In the not too distant future Ross and I are looking to move. Of course, this generally means a decision on what to do about the white goods and whether we will need to space save.

This is where a washer dryer comes in handy and where I would prefer to turn to a trusted retailer, such as John Lewis. Looking at their range, there is something to suit all price ranges and with a minimum of a 2 year guarantee there is even more security. To add to this they generally offer free delivery across their white goods.

It is a spacesaver and holds 7kg with a 5kg drying capacity. It also has a load balancing system, automatic water level control and a detergent recycling system – to save on wastage. It has a number of special functions including a wash for sports clothes and shoes as well as an ‘Eco Time’ button in order to wash a smaller load on quicker time. This machine has a total of 72 reviews with a score of 4 out of 5 stars.

The other machine that caught my eye is made by Samsung and has been rated 5 out of 5. It currently has a special offer of a 5 year warranty and £75 cashback. It has an 8kg wash/5kg dry load and retails at a reasonable £565 (especially with the cashback). It is unique in that it has a diamond-shaped drum and Buy Samsung WD0804W8E Washer Dryer, 8kg wash / 5kg dry load, 1400rpm Spin, White Online at johnlewis.comSamsung say that this is to keep your clothes in the water longer and get them cleaner. It also has some innovative technology to prevent vibration which helps make it quieter and more durable.

With the John Lewis site you are able to compare up to four machines and their specs in order to make your decision that bit easier. Certainly a handy gadget with the choice that’s on offer.
