Last Thursday I had decided that over the weekend I was going to do my next Viewing Vocalised Vlog. I haven’t done one for a while and as it was a good way of saying thank you to a few people AND let everyone know what was coming up on my blog, I was rather looking forward to it. That was until I was struck down with the flu…and the last thing you lovely lot want to see is my ill face staring out at you with a bunch of tissues next to me (some used!) and a cup of the strong stuff (lemsip that is!).
Then today, not only do I still feel under the weather, but my lovely car – which helps earn me my livelihood – broke down on the way to taking Grace to school and is now sitting sadly at the garage needing a new cam shaft sensor which they can’t get until tomorrow! And, to prove there is no rest for the wicked, I am also out hosting a quiz night tonight up in London! The things we do to earn a living, eh?!
So, without further ado, I would like to thank you to all my Prose For Thought linkers over the past few weeks – Sarah from The Puffin Diaries, Livi from Mrs Teepot, Helen from All At Sea, Jaime from The Olivers Madhouse, Cas from Mummy Never Sleeps, Louise from A Strong Coffee and Emma from 1Grace1Faith. Why not go and pay them all a visit :)
Whilst we are on the subject of my #Prose4T linkers, Jaime from The Olivers Madhouse has just gone self-hosted and got herself a sparkly new website. Do pop across and have a look (you’ll find her badge on my sidebar). Jaime, do I tell the lovely readers that we are sharing a room at BritMums Live and we haven’t even met yet? No?! Oh, OK then!
On Saturday evening I had some time to go round and comment on some blog posts. I put a shout out on Twitter and in a couple of places on Facebook to say that I would like to read and comment and got some great feedback and, in the process, some really great posts to read. Which has given me an idea for a link – Post Comment Love with the hashtag #PoCoLo. It is a place for you to link up your posts from that week that just haven’t had the attention you think they deserve and comment on other posts you may have missed. So watch out for this new link coming soon!
Finally, as some of you are aware I have now joined Flickering Myth as one of their feature and news writers. My first preview went up on their site on Saturday just gone. You can find it here. It is all about the new series, Revolution.
