Last week we sat down to watch one of the films on BT Vision. We have the free film package and one of them in the category of Family Viewing was Problem Child 2. Grace decided that was what she would like to watch and, with some trepidation, I let her.
It turned out that the boy in the film was rather rude and obnoxious. I told Grace that I thought he was a very rude boy. She said ‘Thank goodness I’m not a boy, eh? Ross would love it if I was a boy but I don’t want to be’. ‘Why is that?’ I replied. ‘Because’ she responded ‘of the front parts of their bottom’!
Then on Sunday, Grace, Ross and I went with my Mum, my Stepdad and two of my sisters with their families to visit Father Christmas at Bocketts Farm near Dorking. A post about this to follow! We sat down together in the lovely tea room for lunch (not easy with Ross and I on our diet – again, more about that later in the week!). Grace was chatting to her cousin, Emily, when my Mum shouted over to her ‘Grace, what did you ask Father Christmas for?’ Her innocent reply was ‘Macaroni Cheese’. Needless to say we were all in fits of laughter whilst she said there with a puzzled look on her face.
Finally, I would like to share with you some writing Grace did last week about the story of Mary going to Bethlehem because she was having a baby. I wonder if you can make out the first two words of the second to last sentence?! Makes you wonder about the Virgin Mary!
Fancy joining in the fun? Then hop on over to Actually Mummy’s blog and join up with the linky.
