A Blurb Christmas Gift Review – including 20% discount code!

When I went down the affiliation route I decided that I would only deal with products that I understood and believed in as well as having a great working relationship with them. I have all of this with Blurb. Not only is their product complete quality but I enjoy dealing with them.

This week they reminded me that they are offering any new customers a lovely 20% discount off their products and I decided that I would do a round-up of what they are offering in the way of gifts to be ordered in time for Christmas. For a list of their order by dates for Christmas see here..  To understand their product, please see my post about Blurb from a month ago.

The first Gift Idea is the the Weekly Planner. Family members avert your eyes NOW! I have recently created two of these to give to our respective parents as a great present. Each month starts with a full page showing the dates for that month and the adjacent page has a photograph of your choice. Throughout the pages for the planner that month, you are able to add small, extra photographs. These diaries are available in softcover, hardcovers with a dust jacket or hardcover imagewrap. Prices range from £14.95. A real keepsake. I can’t wait to receive mine and show you all what they look like. I will be reviewing them when they arrive.

Looking for a gift for the writer in your life? Then why not create a personalised Notebook? Blurb has templates available for different styles of gridline. Again you are able to order it in either soft or hardback to make it even more durable and personalise it with a drawing or photograph of your choice. A custom notebook can start from as little as £3.95.

What about a The Blog Book? This I like! Blurb supports Blogger, LiveJournal, Typepad and WordPress.com which means you can import your blog posts directly into your Blurb Blog Book and have them as a ready-made gift book. You can either auto-flow your entire blog or select specific posts. What a great gift for bloggers – to have their posts in a book, with images too! Prices start from £7.95 for a small square 20 page book.

Finally, a lovely keepsake. The Blurb Photobook. I recently was provided with a voucher by Blurb to create my own. The review is here.We loved this book the moment it arrived. We were all impressed by its quality and the photos really stand out. Something that will remain on our coffee table for years to come. Grace loves to look through it on a regular basis to jog her memories of the great things we have done this year.  As with the blog book, prices range from £7.95 for a small square. We ordered a hardback wrapcover book retailing at £21.95.

Blurb provides all their book-making software free of charge or you can use their online book-making tools. They are great value without cutting corners on quality. The binding is high-quality and presentation professional.

Blurb are currently offering a massive 20% off for all new customers before 31st December 2012. Just enter the code NOEL20 at checkout.
