The Land of Sometimes – A Review and Giveaway!

Grace and I have recently started to listen the beautiful story and sounds of ‘The Land of Sometimes’.  It is all about a magical journey taken by twins, Elise and Alfie, as they travel inside the silver line where the sea meets the sky, to a Land where there are four seasons in one day.  The story takes you to the Land of Sometimes and through the seasons where you meet some magical characters – including Grace’s favourite, Little Twink, the naughty fairy who messes up rooms! (I wondered whose fault it was! ;)).

‘Hush’

We both agree that the songs are lovely and magical and there is an air of calmness about the CD. Grace loves to follow the story by looking at the fabulous illustrations inside the CD booklet. There is a mixture of different styles of songs; reggae, disco, Irish and more! We listened to it in the car and it made for a lovely drive despite a very busy journey having to travel from place to place.  There is no reason why this CD would be out of place in the lead up to bedtime, especially when the tracks finish with the lovely song ‘Hush’. A definite win for children and adults alike.

I have two copies of this lovely CD to giveaway together with a bonus to the first person drawn – a ‘Hush’ poster. For a chance to win a copy of this CD to keep – or, of course, give to someone for Christmas – then just follow the Rafflecopter instructions below.  The competition closes at 12.01am on 9th November 2012.

Mine varies from day to day. Today it is Beethoven’s Violin Concerto – tomorrow it could be Bohemian Rhapsody.
