Ever since Ross and Grace started to spend time together, they seem to have formed a double act. She has picked up many of his mannerisms and sayings. They have a lot of rough and tumble, staring competitions and Ross carries out wrestling moves on her, and toB her credit she does them back as well as managing to get out of the moves Ross does on her! The other day he even encouraged her to show her strength by elbowing him in the arm – needless to say he now is very bruised!
The first time I picked up on Grace sounding like Ross was last Christmas. We were watching ITV’s version of Cinderella and one of the characters told one of the others to shut their face. Grace, who was wandering around the room at the time, just turned and said ‘bit harsh’!
So, we fast forward to last week. Ross picked up Grace from school last Monday as I was on an acting job (as an aside, a young boy ran up to Ross and shouted ‘hey sexy man!’ which I found very funny!). On the drive home, Grace turned to Ross and said ‘When we get home, I am going to kill you. Of that I can assure you’!
Grace is also starting to become very aware of Christmas and Jesus and the connection. However, I think she got it a bit confused when we were travelling along in the car a couple of days ago. She told us ‘If you don’t watch the Muppet Christmas Carol at Christmas then you will die by Jesus Christ and that is a promise!’
